DEVELOPMENT

Many attempts to produce fast, efficient and safe water and land going vehicles have been made during the twentieth century but the results have been disappointing. There was a need to start afresh with a new innovative approach if the substantial market was to be satisfied. In 1987 David Royle took up the challenge. He began by listing the criteria to be met and investigated the fundamental reasons behind the poor performance of previous designs. The results of his careful study and his fresh approach can now be seen in the range of marine vehicles, produced by Cardox Limited with the support of David Royle's specialist vehicle company, whose team of skilled engineers with well equiped workshops were ideally placed to build and test various prototypes.
